In a small village, a tiny school with only 6 teachers and 29 students, in 3 classroom, many of them lack basic utensils to be able to attend school. The government is able to provide syllabus books, but other essentials such as extra uniforms, writing utensils, notebooks, etc.
To encourage their learning experience, we are currently providing 29 students from grade 1st to 5th with everything they need to be able to attend school including practice books for all subjects for 3 teams.
For students that live far away, we are providing bikes as a alternative transportation method.
University students
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, University students are struggling to finish their studies. We are going to provide five students with economical support so that they can finish their studies. The students are attending the University of Jaffna, University of Pradeniya, Eastern University, Uva Wellassa University and Agriculture School of Vavniya. Currently, they are doing their studies online.
Student support India
We are currently helping out two refugee families in India with three kids with school supplies so that they are able to attend school and providing basic utensils for 55 students in a small village.
